'Humour me a little while I state the obvious....we get lost because we don't know where we are. Of course, simple. We get lost because we don't have the information to tell us where we are ad, without that, we can't find the way home. Equally obvious. How can we get somewhere if we don't know where we are to start with? All this may be a no-brainer, but what is in your face is not always in your mind. As the saying goes: If you want to hide something, put it in public display. What I have described to you is precisely the plight of the 'human race'. We are lost because (a) we don't know where we are and (b) we don't have access to the necessary information to tell us where we are. In fact, in our case, it goes even further. WE don't even know who we are, let alone where. As John Lennon wrote: 'How can I go forward when I don't know which way to turn?' Without those coordinates - who we are and where we are - how can we possibly make sense of what we see and experience? We can't So we guess (often wildly) and these guesses are called religions and scientific theories. We talk about making 'educated guesses' based on the best information available, but what if that information - expressed through religion and science - was fundamentally flawed and, even more significantly, was meant to be so? We would be faced with a situation even more confusing than simply not knowing which direction to head. We would be sent off in the wrong direction believing that the passer-by with the mitre or the microscope knew what they were talking about. Today there is a growing understanding that our maps are out of date and we have been reading them the wrong way up. Or, rather, we've had this done for us by agents, often unknowingly so, of a system that can only exist by keeping us in ignorance of the compass and coordinates that will lead us home. Like a dark stain on a white sheet, it is not hard to come to the conclusion that life on planet earth can so easily do more damage than good to the over soul. Our trials and tribulations can be akin to stumbling around in a darkroom desperately searching for the light switch, as we attempt to find out who we really are and why we came here. There are banana skins everywhere as we bravely exist in a world which seems content to remain oblivious to awakening as to render the process itself somewhat pointless. Spiritual awakening on planet earth seems like the hardest thing to do sometimes. We seem to be constantly surrounded by people who are far too keen to hold on to erroneous beliefs, about the world and what we are expected to do while here.
Humanity is kept in the dark about fundamental truths that if they were made aware of could radically change society for the better. Yet amidst even the most optimistic of people, by and large the great masses seem content to remain ignorant as they struggle and strive to make ends meet both for themselves and those they most love.
From the moment people are born until they die, they so very rarely question what life really is, and the purpose of it all. Funerals are somber events as families mourn what they see as the end of a life, but instead fail to understand the transition that has just occurred. Blinded by false paradigms and simply not ready to entertain the idea that maybe things are different, and that just possibly they might have gotten it all wrong about what existence actually is.
In the world we live in people fail to understand their actions have consequences, they fail to understand that death is not the end, and not even a beginning but simply a return to where they have been before, a simple continuation of their evolvement to ever greater heights, ever greater truths. People fail to understand that the life they are currently living is simply a field trip from a much greater reality.
We can’t be at fault for the way society has been set up, and it is not easy to awaken in this world. But we can be held responsible for not opening ourselves to new ways of thinking. Information is just that, a belief in eternal life, existence on other planets, higher dimensions, different life forms, and the manipulation of world events, does not and will never change the fact that it is so.
We shouldn’t become frustrated as we look out on a world and see so much spiritual ignorance; after all it is what it is. Yet perhaps one most wonder the purpose of another incarnation into a planet where to spiritually evolve does not even enter into the minds of most, who not only do not see it as desirable, but who refuse to even entertain the idea that they are spiritual in the first place, convinced instead that life is a onetime 80 year accident, and that we should all be concerned with doing what we can to live the best way possible at the expense of everything else, including other people.
People in life say that experiences can sometimes be a ‘once in a lifetime opportunity’, but perhaps one could also say that life on planet earth is a ‘once in a souls time opportunity’, after all why keep deciding to be born into ignorance, so one can fumble around learning lessons, creating karma only to have to create more karma and repeat the same thing again in a different lifetime. If there is life on so many other planets, what exactly is it about earth that is so appealing? If the purpose of life (embodiment) is to spiritually evolve then how far do people really come when their time here is over?
However with that said it is easy to see what can be learned when faced with difficult circumstances, and maybe there are opportunities here to do things that probably don’t exist elsewhere, but nevertheless it can make you wonder sometimes.
In the end everyone will remember again who they really are, and the illusion will be revealed to all in time, in body or out of it. So it is probably best not to get disheartened while living life. What will be will be, as long as no harm is bought to others, there is no right and wrong, all life should be embraced and welcomed. Free will prevails, and choices are numerous in this reality. So perhaps that is what should be celebrated, and if you have awakened to you true nature, then give yourself a pat on the back, for it is in no way guaranteed in this plain of existence, and with the cards stacked so heavily against you it is certainly not easy.

“The preparation we would advise is to recognize that you are a co-creator of what is happening around you. You are not passive, although you may feel ‘acted upon’; even your passivity is a form of active creation-creation by not taking responsibility. We would say that in these coming times, it is vital to recognize your sovereignty as a creator force, to avoid the mind control and manipulation of those currently in dominant places of power, to use your own mind to sense out the truth and not trust what is told to you, for you are surrounded by lies. You must use the highest levels of your own heart and mind to ferret out the trust of every situation.
You must come to recognize that your heart and mind-your thinking and your feeling natures-are powerful forces that when combined together become a creative dynamo. You are at the threshold, collectively, of a new world. How difficult the transition of this birth will be depends largely on you and all your fellow humans. Recognize that it is a grand adventure. Whether you survive a particular period of this transition physically or not is immaterial from the standpoint of the greater being that you are a part of; for your current embodiment is like one facet of a diamond, and how you deal with your life, with the incredible moments of these times, strengthens you or weakens you. But it is not the situations themselves that strengthen or weaken you, but how you create your response to them. This is your greatest power. And no power on earth can take that from you. When you know this, you are invulnerable. And what we mean by this type of invulnerability is that when you are in this place of personal power, it is immaterial to you whether you live or die, for you have found your spiritual center and recognize, with full certainty, that you are a spiritual being beyond the constraints of time, space, and history. You are a being of luminous light having a human experience.”

This knowledge will never leave you, and whenever there is a time when you need to make a decision about what to do in the future, you will, if you need to be able to reference past experiences to help make a better more informed decision, and at the very least you will have always learnt something. Life is all about learning, no matter how old you are, or even how old you feel, adopting an open, willing attitude to learning from the experiences you live each day, will help make you a wiser more informed person. It is never a bad thing to look out at life and see what you can learn each and every day.”

Learning to silence the mind is one of the most useful things you can do. There may be times in your life when you become negative or your mind becomes full of self-doubt, or perhaps you may just want to quieten any internal dialgoue you may be experiencing. As a near-death experiencer said:

It is wise to drop any pre-conceived negative limited notions about what is possible for you in this lifetime, it is only when you do this that you can begin to see alternatives and start to see things a little differently, you can create much, do many things and lead a fuller, richer life, but not if you constantly see the world from a limited ‘small me’ perspective.
My advice to you is to shift your perspective from little me to someone who can achieve way more than they think they can, if you think about not getting this or that, then stop thinking and just know you are more than any short term limiting thoughts you manifest from time to time (or when it all feels like too much). Knowing is more important than thinking especially in times when you think things won’t happen or will turn out badly, instead just know things will turn out ok and that everything will be good.
We live courtesy of mind made prisons which we create for ourselves and then back up them up by what we see on TV, hear from others or what our peers tell us what can and cannot be done in this life. But this is all illusion because there is great power in you and in everyone else alive today, and a belief that goes against this fundamental truth is pure fiction. Go on and believe what you want in life, this is certainly a choice available to you, but perhaps a choice you might want to make is the one where you choose to live free of fear and mind made limitations which serve to keep you living a life far removed from what you could be living.
